Intercessors…Thank you for your prayers for Kathy’s Jan. 15 hip-replacement surgery. She is now driving her car, shopping, and flying with Dea to Boise, Idaho, Feb. 28!
Pray for God’s guidance for the Warfords and for the following meetings (as of this writing)…

Above: At the Whittier Crossing Foursquare Church where Dea preached February 22, this lovely lady was a visitor who had never met Dea. At the close of the service, when Pastor Aileen Ramirez gave the altar call, she made a decision for Christ
Above: Emei Sheppard received a mighty deliverance years back when Dea preached at the Whittier Crossing. She is a fireball for Christ now and came again to celebrate with us!
The Sign of a Dove!
by Dea Warford
We moved to our current home in September 2021. It is 3 stories in one stand-alone unit among many others in a condominium complex. One unique aspect of our unit is an outdoor plant wall, about 10 feet wide and 5 feet tall. It has 54 black pouches, and a drip watering system to water each pouch individually. The previous resident must have really been into plants. She had quite a collection of colorful plants. Other nice flora were around most of the back porch.
I had planned to maintain the garden, but discovered that it was quite a job! We brought in a pro to help us, but the faulty watering system was just too inconsistent. Plants died, weeds abounded, and I discovered I do not have a green thumb! I at first called it my little “Prayer Garden” and with private walls and attractive plants it was a great place to pray. But then, the spiders and mosquitoes came!
I found out insects love my ministry! Or maybe it was just my type O blood! I learned to pray in the garage, or while taking a prayer walk. I wanted to cut the plant board down, but Kathy felt we should save it in case we sell our home. The next buyer might love a plant board garden.
One morning, a few weeks ago, Kathy noticed that a dove had built a nest in one of the pouches! We saw it every time we walked by the 2nd story sliding door. It was wonderful. Then we discovered that she had laid two little eggs!
We both feel strongly that this all was a sign from the Lord that the “Spirit of God” was now nesting at our house! He also is birthing two eggs! Those two little eggs are Kathy and Dea! We are about to have new life and new ministries born in us and Warford Ministries.
I have been preaching and writing about my belief (along with many Apostles, Prophets, and Teachers) that the Holy Spirit is about to move in a mighty wave of revival and power!
As a further witness, we read that Doves mate for life! In June, Kathy and I will have been married 55 years! (Remember, 555 is my number!) Further we read that, once laid, it takes 14 days for a dove’s egg to hatch. 7 is my number! 2 times (2 eggs Kathy and Dea) 7 = 14! And guess what, this morning as I began working on this newsletter, we discovered that the first chick had hatched!
Genesis 1:1-3: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. God said, let there be light: and there was light.” Nothing was happening! But then the Spirit of God began to move! And once the Spirit was moving on a place without form and void (like a nearly useless Garden or a ministry that is still trying to find its way forward) suddenly God said,
“let there be light.”
Hallelujah! God is about to say, “let there be light” to Dea and Kathy, to Warford Ministries, and I prophesy, to you also!
God often does something in a leader’s life first, before the body of Christ begins to experience the same thing. I am not more holy than you. I am just in a place of leadership where through my writing, praying, and preaching I can inspire you to seek God for His destiny for your life.
If you can receive it, there is an invisible dove sitting at your house. You and your mate, children and grandchildren, are eggs already laid or being laid… and are soon to hatch!
2 Chronicles 20:20: “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”
Believe what prophets are saying…
Prepare to prosper because of the Spirit moving at your home!
Note From Dea:
My son, Nathan, from Osaka, Japan writes on the following pages how a book helped him to “be established.” I am reading the book now, and it is extraordinary. The author was a soldier, a cop, and now is a missionary/teacher.
The book is part autobiography and part wise counsel. You can get it on Amazon for less than $10.00. Ask God if this book is part of the Holy Spirit’s nesting plan for you or anyone else you feel could use what is a new truth Jamie Winship shares
Missionary Evangelist Nathan Warford’s Report
Greetings from Osaka, Japan!
(Above, Nathan speaking with interpreter at a Community Night Gathering)
“Recently, I celebrated my 38th birthday. I am so grateful to God for the many ways He has blessed me until now with friends, supporters, good health, finances, a ministry, a calling, a future vision, housing, and so much more. My cup runneth over!
For my birthday, I not only had time to celebrate but also to share my life and testimony with many believers and non-believers. During our Wednesday night “community night,” I not only shared the testimony of my miraculous birth but also how God helped me overcome a false identity and replace it with the truth of how He REALLY saw me.
For years, I hated celebrating birthdays. Not because I was shy, but because deep down I didn’t feel worthy of my life being celebrated. There were things I disliked about myself, and I felt unworthy of the focus of birthdays.
About 8 years ago God brought this into the light and helped me realize that my life has immense worth, but not for what I do, but because of who He is and the worth He bestows on me in Christ. After this revelation, God healed me and I now love birthdays. Satan wanted to ruin and hide the very powerful truth of who I am and the miracle of my life. Then Pastor Bob Gaston, a friend and supporter of my ministry, sent me a book, Living Fearless, by Jamie Winship.
This book was a catalyst further helping me to reject my false identity (an insecure man? No!) and discovering my true identity. I am walking with greater authority, peace, and now have a word for the Japanese who struggle greatly with who they really are! I shared this testimony with the attendees of the community night. Although it was a national holiday on that particular day, dozens of people came! Many were not Christians and had little to no understanding of the Gospel or scripture. I shared this testimony and told them in Japanese that their life had meaning, and they were born to be loved.
The response was amazing as many not only were touched by it but afterward the conversations continued in groups where further testimonies were shared, and the Gospel was presented further. I am so thankful to God for this opportunity! In the past month I also have started a Bible study out of my apartment. We’ve averaged about 6 or 7 young men each time. We are praying together, reading through Hebrews, and encouraging each other in ministry. The goal is to expand it and take it outside the four walls to local cafes or parks and invite more non-Christians to join. Out of it has risen opportunity for deep discussion and confession among members leading to further growth in Christ and more meaningful relationships. This is essential for the church and Japanese Christians: for years many of these young men have had no Bible study available to them in Japan or a healthy place to express their hearts with other brothers.
In addition, I and a roommate and filmmaker have begun the early stages of developing a YouTube channel and website. This is connected with a vision I have had for over a decade. My heart is to begin filming churches and missionaries and sharing their needs and hearts and then through the website connecting people to our ministries and other churches in need. Then eventually this will lead to videos for Japanese who struggle with depression or loneliness, and our goal will then be to connect them to a church or Christian community to meet that need.
Over the next month I will be visiting more churches and hearing more needs and looking into how I can feature them on this channel and support them more fully! Please pray for it! I call this: “Missiomobile” or mobilizing missionaries! It’s the other half of my dual vision: to raise up Christian leaders in Japan and churches and to bring in more missionaries and connect them to needs in Japan. Every day and week, I continue to support the local church, facilitate and support short and long-term missionaries, preach the Gospel to the unsaved, disciple young Japanese Christians, teach English, and show love to the most vulnerable by working with orphans, preschool kids, students, and elderly Japanese. Please pray for more connections, more favor and open doors, an increase in Japanese language ability, and greater faith to trust and believe God for more!
(Above: Men’s Bible Study in my small apartment: Thank you for your prayers to find a long-term larger facility for prayer meetings, leadership training and evangelistic outreaches!)
I am so very thankful for your continued support of my ministry. You are making an impact in Japan and I cannot wait to share even more as God unfolds more vision. God richly bless you!
